IT systems security audit successfully completed

Cybersecurity is one of the key elements of any modern organization’s strategy. We have just completed a comprehensive IT systems security audit for the Maritime Office in Szczecin. The aim of the audit was to verify the compliance of IT systems with security requirements that protect against the loss of continuity of key services.

Positive recommendation

By issuing a positive recommendation for the services provided by Pentacomp, the Office confirmed our competence and commitment to raising digital security standards. For us, this is proof that the IT systems security audit carried out by Pentacomp experts meets the highest quality standards.

National Cybersecurity System – a foundation of protection

The audit was part of the implementation of the National Cybersecurity System (KSC). The KSC is a system created on the basis of an act implementing the European NIS directive into Polish law. The main goal of the National Cybersecurity System is to ensure a sufficiently high level of protection for ICT systems. They are crucial for the uninterrupted provision of key and digital services at the national level.

The system covers many entities and includes operators of key services in sectors such as energy, transport, health, banking, or digital infrastructure. NIS2 obliges them to implement effective security measures, assess cybersecurity risks, and report serious incidents. All these activities aim to strengthen resilience against cyberattacks, improve risk management, and secure supply chains throughout the European Union.

We support the security of institutions and companies

For years, Pentacomp has actively supported companies and institutions in building resilience to digital threats. Regular IT security audits are not only a requirement. Above all they are a conscious step towards increasing information security and ensuring the continuity of an organization’s operations.
