On 1 October 2023, Dariusz Nowakowski took over the position of President of the Management Board of Pentacomp Systemy Informatyczne SA, replacing Karol Gajos in this role.

Dariusz Nowakowski joined Pentacomp in 2019 as Vice President of the Management Board. “My goal as the new CEO is clear: to continue what is best, build on our achievements so far and strive for even greater success. Pentacomp are an amazing team, passionate about what they do and I’m sure we can achieve even more.”

The new CEO of Pentacomp is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and has a PhD from the Collegium of Management and Finance at the Warsaw School of Economics. He has many years of managerial experience in Polish and international IT and technology companies, including Smartrac Technology GmbH, Linxens Group and Polish Security Printing Works, among others. In the years 2016-2017 he was the Director of the ICT Department, an Expert of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and a Member of the Council of the Polish Space Agency.

For many years, he has been active in the field of IT, innovation and research and development, with particular emphasis on information systems, biometrics and RFID technology.

He is a co-author of the patent no. PL 213572 – Secure Personalised Document, used, among others, in the current format of the Polish driving license. He is a member of the Mazovian branch of the Polish Information Processing Society, actively involved in the digitisation of public administration and the use of information technologies.
