The EDM (Electronic Medical Documentation) Connector is a tool that supports the process of issuing and canceling an electronic medical document and serves as an integration layer between the office system and the P1 System.
The application generates and saves XML documents in accordance with the current versions of the PIK HL7 CDA and the latest guidelines of the Ministry of Health. The EDM system has been designed according to the international standard for the exchange of medical documentation IHE XDS.b. This means it can be shared and exchanged not only within the Polish healthcare system but also abroad.
Integrating the office system with the P1 using the EDM Connector prevents incurring costs related to further system updates to new versions of the PIK HL7 CDA and the P1 System integration documentation for EDM.
