HL7 FHIR – The Standard in Healthcare
The Pentacomp Medical Database is a universal data source common to all IT systems used in a medical facility or network of cooperating medical facilities. It is used to collect and exchange medical information (e.g., blood pressure, height, allergies, etc.) for conducting detailed analyses and creating views and summaries (health and disease history).
The Medical Database is based on the FHIR interoperability standard, creating a common specification that allows healthcare system participants to easily exchange information. Solutions based on FHIR are flexible and easy to adapt, which is particularly important given the high variability of needs caused by the multitude and diversity of processes carried out within healthcare services. It allows for quick connection of existing data sources and research databases, creating new analytical possibilities for all medical data.
